This episode is a replay of episode 18 from almost two years ago. We didn't have enough questions for a Q and A episode this week, so I'm replaying this amazing chat which didn't have as many listens as it should have!
In this episode I speak with John Hall from Cactus Country.
Cactus Country is a Australia's largest Cactus garden situated near the Murray River bordering Victoria and New South Wales in Strathmerton.
John's parents started Cactus Country and run the business along with John, and it's not just a garden, but a retail nursery, wedding venue, restaurant/cafe and education centre. I discuss all of this with John as well as their plans to grow.
We also go more off the landscaping track in this episode than I have in others, discussing meditation and NFT's, and Dami Im even gets a mention!
I loved recording this episode and could've chatted with John for days!

Episode 126 - Craig Clarke - Total Garden Management
In this episode I speak with Craig Clarke from Total Garden Management, a garden maintenance company based in Melbourne.
Craig started in the industry by mowing lawns when he was about 8, and hasn't left in more than 30 years. He worked for Semken Landscaping and Robert Boyle in his first 10 or so years in the industry so had a couple of great companies to learn from prior to going out on his own.
He's since built relationships with designers such as Gareth Le Page and Jaye Metcalf where he maintains some of the gardens they design, and it was a great example of how beneficial that can be, working with regular designers, so that you get to understand their vision and how they like their gardens to be realised.
